The mayor said his top accomplishments during 2012-2013 were the “Pattaya Definitely More” tourism campaign, which he said has drawn millions of visitors annually to the city.

He also touted the establishment of the city call center, his “Pattaya Team” committee comprising representatives from the city’s 42 neighborhoods, and public health and social welfare programs.

As for the environment, Pattaya continues its push to be a “green tourism” destination, reorganizing the beachfront to return more sand to the public, supplementing its water-treatment capacity and installing more CCTV cameras for security.

Finally, he touted the city’s many festivals as evidence of its strong cultural appeal.
