The Chonburi Public Health Department joined local police in raiding a Pattaya massage parlor for allegedly selling substandard food and drugs.

Officers hit Suvarnabhumi Thai Massage June 16 after authorities received numerous complaints from tourists. They recovered Suvarnabhumi-branded balm along with edible shark fin and bird’s nest soup. Owner Nushree Thaesuji, 55, was charged with illegally selling drugs.

Pharmacist Mingkwan Thanasetkorn said the Public Health Department had received complaints that the items were poor quality and authorities found they were indeed unregistered.
