Not every wallet lost in a Pattaya bar remains lost.

Ratchadaporn Sangvibut, owner of the Bodega Bar on Soi Post Office, went to Pattaya police May 1 to turn in a wallet containing more than 15,000 baht that had been left behind.

The 28-year-old barkeep said she’d been keeping the wallet, belonging to Barry Phillip Morgan, for a couple of days, hoping the foreigner would come back for it. When he didn’t, she turned it into authorities as it contained 11,600 baht, 20 euros, 60 British pounds and credit cards.
