Pattaya welcomes in the Year of the Horse

The BMW-B.Grimm Thai Polo - Open 2014 was a fitting prelude to Friday’s Chinese New Year, Year of the Horse, when lions and dragons will dance from morning to night when Pattaya celebrates Chinese New Year on Jan. 31. Along with people throughout the area paying respects to their ancestors at temples and individual homes, many venues around town will hold celebrations. City sponsored events include lion and dragon parades, a Chinese Girls pageant in Naklua, cultural shows and concerts by Pao Paowaree and the Blueberry Girls. May good luck, good health and prosperity be with you throughout the Year of the Horse.
