German dies on speeding Harley

A German man died after crashing his speeding Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Jomtien Second Road.

Michael Lambauer, 39, suffered extensive injuries including a broken neck in 5:30 a.m. Nov. 3 crash. Police said evidence pointed to Lambauer speeding, then losing control on an unlit curve in the road.

The victim had been the managing director of the Lomatec swimming pool company. He also had been a member of a local Harley riding club.
