Senior citizens learned about proper eye care and bid farewell to Pattaya’s top public health officer at their September meeting.

Dr. Jitlada Lertjarassiwilai, an ophthalmologist from Pattaya Public Health Office, spoke to the Pattaya Elderly Club Sept. 7 about eye diseases and the need for regular exams and treatment of the eyes. Afflictions that affect the elderly include cataracts and presbyopia, which affects near or distance vision after age 40.
