More than 100 eastern-region doctors caught up on the latest in diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus at a hearing and speech conference at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.

Hospital Director Pichit Kangwolkij opened the Nov. 4 seminar for the syndrome commonly known as “ringing in the ears.” It can cause nausea, speech problems and even deafness without treatment of the auditory nerves.
