City tree trimmers were back at it again, this time in Naklua where residents complained about branches entangling electrical wires.

Engineer Anont Raimanee led 10 city workers to the area near the Woodlands Hotel & Resort where the intertwining of leaves and wires led locals to worry about fires and power outages.

Anont said the cut wood will be sent to the city’s recycling center to be used in gardening projects. Those seeing other trees in need of trimming can contact the city call center at 1337.
