Pattaya workers improved accessibility for the disabled at Jomtien Beach, widening the footpath and adding ramps.

A team of 10 employees set to work Jan. 9 near Jomtien Soi 5, extending their labors to Soi 7.

The path had been set considerably higher than the road, making access in a wheelchair difficult. Ramps were installed to bring the surface down to street level.

The footpath next to the beach also was modified, lessening the slope for safety and to make access to the beach easier for the disabled.
