City-sponsored activities will run 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with North Road closed during that time. The event will feature talent contests and numerous private businesses have offered sponsorships, Wattana said.

He added that all children attending will receive gifts and a ticket for a raffle. Games, food and drink will be on offer, including an academic quiz game.
