Chonburi Red Cross donates homes to poor

The Chonburi Red Cross built houses for poor people in Banbung and Panthong districts in honor of HM the Queen’s birthday.

Red Cross President Bussarawadee Ekachai presented renovated homes to four people in Banbung Sept. 4. The renovations, worth a total 63,325 baht, were made available to people to poor to afford houses or repair existing structures.

In Panthong, 293,000 baht was approved for building homes for three individuals.

In all, 45 homes worth a total 1.7 million baht in eight districts are planned.

The home building project had received cooperation from local leaders focusing on helping the poor and disabled to have good lives.
