Chonburi police arrest foreigners on prostitution, immigration charges

Chonburi police arrested 27 foreign women accused of either soliciting prostitution on Walking Street, for overstay, or for illegal entry, as well as 9 Liberian men for overstay and illegal entry.

12 of the suspected prostitutes hailed from Uzbekistan, including their alleged trafficker Bekchanova Zamira; three from Liberia, one from Ivory Coast, two from Uganda, one from Russia, two from Cameroon and one from Canada.

Police also announced the arrest of 3 women for overstay: two from Cameroon and one from Uganda, plus 4 women for illegal entry: two from Liberia, and one each from Ivory Coast and Canada.

The arrest roundup continued with 9 Liberian men being remanded to custody, five for overstay and four for illegal entry.

All were processed for deportation.

    How this police could not arrest even 1 thai prostitute girl....as everybody know that it is also a local speciality.........they arrest only foreigners....
