Local Chonburi administrators were told to ensure their budgets are spent fairly and disbursed openly and transparently as the province works to rid government of corruption.

Meeting Feb. 25 with district officials, Gov. Khomsan Ekachai noted that the Ministry of Interior has continuously laid out measures to prevent corruption in government procurement, but there are still many complaints regarding the issue and some local administrative organizations have not yet taken the anti-graft initiative seriously.
