More than 300 Chonburi businesses are expected to offer their wares and food while other booths offer games including sand-piling, sugarcane eating, sling shots, puzzle games, joke poems, and buffalo-decorating contest. Thai country music and performances from acts such as Kalyani will entertain while people can enter drawings for gold prizes and enjoy traditional Thai massage.

The buffalo races themselves offer contests small, big and young beasts of burden, as well as “beauty” competitions when the bulls are dressed up in festive costumes, and competitions for the healthiest-looking buffalo.
