Chonburi officials brought the government to the people in Sattahip to make life a bit more convenient and a bit less expensive.

Gov. Khomsan Ekachai presided over the Feb. 24 outreach at Khongdara Temple.

Government agencies and utilities combined to open a one-stop service center where people could take care of land and vehicle registrations, pay taxes and utility bills, and talk to labor officials.

Provincial authorities also provided aid to the poor, distributing 400 bags of supplies, glasses to the elderly and bicycles to students. Scholarships also were awarded to well-performing impoverished students.

Everyone also had the opportunity to purchase discounted locally made products and sit in on job counseling talks or legal advice to help them mediate disputes.
