More than 50 area police officers learned basic first aid and life support in a first-of-its-kind seminar offered by Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.

Officers from Pattaya, Banglamung and Sattahip stations joined the June 27 class at the Pattaya Hospital.

Hospital executives said the course was organized as police are often the first responders to accidents and have the greatest potential to save lives.
