A 3-year-old Kledkaew girl has been reunited with her father after an uncle abandoned her at a Bang Saray garbage dump.
A tearful Thawatchai Phewonn, 42, picked up his daughter Dec. 27, after she was taken and left at the dump while he was at work.
The last Thawatchai said he knew was that the girl’s uncle, Doi Wiwanjan, 42, said he was taking the child to buy chips. The motive for the abduction and abandonment was unknown, as the uncle has come up missing as well.
Little “Taengmo” was found early Dec. 26 by a Kledkaew garbage collector near a dump on Soi Najomtien 27. She was dirty and hungry, but otherwise unharmed.
