4,500 trees planted in Ban Suan for HM the Queen’s birthday

Chonburi residents and public officials came together to plant 4,500 trees in Ban Suan to honor HM the Queen on her 80th birthday.

Gov. Khomsan Ekachai presided over the Aug. 7 ceremony that also saw the release of 2,000 crabs into the sea in line with Her Majesty’s interest in restoring Thailand’s environment.

Volunteers planted 2,400 mangroves, 800 cork, and 1,300 Api Api trees. (CPDC)
