Two days after a Russian tourist was found strangled in a South Pattaya hotel, an Israeli man died at the same inn in Soi Buakaow.

Dan Bubis, 57, is believed to have suffered a heart attack following a March 7 tryst with bar girl. She told police Bubis had fallen asleep afterward, but almost immediately stopped breathing.

Bubis had checked in Jan. 17 and was due to leave that day.

The death comes two days after a Russian national was found strangled with his own belt following a similar encounter with another Thai prostitute in the same hotel the day he was supposed to check out.

Both Pattaya and Region 2 police are investigating both deaths.
