Two Irishmen and a Thai were fined 500 baht for fighting over a pool bet on Soi Buakaow.

Roy Murray, 50, Mark Johnston, 47, and Banjerd Niemtiew, 32, were taken to Pattaya Police Station Oct. 12 after workers at the Marky beer bar called police.

Banjerd told police they’d made a 200-baht wager on a best-of-three pool game. He claimed he’d won, but that the Irishmen had tried to force him to play the third game to settle the bet and a fight ensued.
