Banglamung police and the Sawang Boriboon foundation were called to the construction camp of Thai MLM co., ltd., in Sukhumvit highway soi 8, Naklua.

This was after receiving a report from foreman that a body had been found stuffed in a sanitary well.

At the scene the police found the body of 34 year old Vimon Khamkaew, from Nam-ang, Tron district, Utaradit.

Only his right leg was above the waterline.

The Sawang Boriboon volunteers lifted his body out of the well and found a serious wound on his head and suspected that the body had been there for about 2-3 days.

The foreman said the dead man was also a foreman at the camp. He said during this time the company didn’t have any construction contracts and therefore most of the laborers had went back to their homelands and only two of them had remained  - the deceased and a carpenter named Sanya Janthai, who was about 30-35 years old from Nongkhai province.

However the foreman said the carpenter had recently  disappeared from the camp and no one had seen him since.

The foreman suspected that the carpenter had killed Vimon Khamkaew and stolen his 2-baht gold necklace.
