4 suspected dealers, 13 users apprehended as area drug sweep continues

Pattaya police continued their area-wide drug sweep, announcing Thursday the arrest of four suspected dealers and 13 alleged customers.

Pratya Sirisilp, 19; Patiya Mulsarn, 25; Jenjira Seela, 19; and Ratcha Ratchanapakit, 23, were arrested in a raid on a Soi Potisan apartment.  A total of about 60 methamphetamine tablets, a third of a gram of crystal meth and a loaded 22-caliber handgun were seized.

Pattaya police chief Col. Nanthawut Suwanla-ong also said random checks at an unnamed entertainment area netted 13 people who returned positive drugs tests.

The crackdown against drug use began last month and will continue, he said.
