Police officers from Baan Nong Ket Noi were on patrol and found a crumpled motorbike registration plate left in a bush on the side of the Nongklao-Nong Pangpuay road in Bueng district, Sri Racha. The bike evidently belonged to Ms. Prakaidao, a student who had reported to the police earlier that two men stole it from her at gunpoint on the same night.

Upon further investigation police found her Yamaha Fino motorcycle in front of a rented room. Police charged in and found four people doing drugs.

The police detained the four gang members whom denied the charge of the bike robbery and at the scene they also found 21 amphetamine pills, one pack of marijuana, a Sparta knife, one mobile phone, 51,000 baht in cash, one gold necklace, a bank book, and other drug paraphernalia.

The gang turned out to be 33 year old Tong Kaewsuwan, from Udonthani, 19 year old Pipat Prakobtham, from Chonburi, 19 year old Seree Prangkokkruad, from Nakonrajasima, and a 20 year old woman named Sansani Jaiyangyuen from Banglamung.

The girl who had had her bike stolen was unable to confirm if this was the same gang who held her at gunpoint.

Police suspected there would be more of them hiding somewhere and are still looking for the rest of them.
