Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh chaired a meeting at City Hall on Friday, January 14, to discuss preparations for this year’s annual Pattaya International Bed Race, which will be held at the end of this month on Sunday, January 30, and will follow a route from the Central Festival Pattaya Beach to the finish line at Walking Street.

City Hall is helping to organize this event in conjunction with local Rotary clubs and the Tourist Authority of Thailand.

Now in its third year, the Bed Race is expected to attract some 40-50 teams to compete and will also include a grand parade and provide great fun for families and children.

The entrance fee is 5,000 baht per team and the funds raised will be donated to various charitable organizations.
