The next meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be held on Sunday, May 1. Everyone is warmly welcome. Tony’s Fitness Center at the junction of Third Road and Pattaya Tai (South) will be holding an International Day of Yoga on June 21 to help raise funds for Tony’s Animal Shelter, which takes care of abandoned, injured and abused dogs. There will be two yoga classes held during the event: 6 p.m. – 7.15 p.m. and 8 p.m. – 9.15 p.m. and those attending are requested to make a minimum contribution of 100 baht which will help provide medical care and food for the dogs. EU Referendum Overseas Voter Registration: The UK Electoral Commission is encouraging British citizens living overseas to register to vote ahead of the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union on June 23. To register as an overseas voter you must have previously been registered in a UK constituency within the last 15 years. Once registered, overseas voters can then choose how they wish to vote. They can vote by post, by proxy (voting by appointing someone you trust to vote on your behalf), or even in person at their polling station if they will be in their local authority area on polling day.
