BANGKOK, 20 November 2014 – 2015 will be a good year for telecommunication businesses, says mobile devices and accessories distributor TWZ Corporation Plc.
According to TWZ chairman Puttachat Rungkasiri, his company will be able to expand alongside other businesses in the telecommunication sector in year 2015, owing to the experience within the field that the company has accumulated for as long as 20 years. The company plans to focus on seeking new allies and new product outlets in 2015 and 2016; the target is to expand coverage of the TWZ-brand shops throughout the country. The company is expecting a domestic sales figure of 5 billion baht in 2015.
Meanwhile, Kittipong Kittipassorn, the company’s vice president for product management and marketing, explained that the company has three main businesses that comprise telecommunication, ‘digital life’ products and software. In the first business, the company distributes mobile phones of popular brands as well as those under the TWZ brand, mobile phone accessories, sim cards and top-up cards. The second business involves distribution of electronic gadgets, entertainment devices and security products; for example, the E-Robot closed circuit camera that works with mobile phone applications. The third business involves software and applications that are periodically developed in accordance with the lifestyle of consumers.
