BANGKOK, 19 December 2013 The PTT has announced its plans to stockpile NGV reserves in order to handle the increase in energy consumption during the New Year’s season.

Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn stated that the 2014 New Year’s holiday would be quite long, and the company is readying itself to the evident increase in the country’s energy consumption during the season.

The company has dispatched more fuel to its gas stations – especially for the stations situated on the main travel routes, such as those heading toward Mae Hong Son.

Moreover, the conglomerate will also prepare stockpiling of its NGV fuel in order to prevent shortages at its designated stations. December 28-31, 2013 and January 1-3, 2014 are the periods which will see a spike in fuel consumption due to increased holiday traveling.

The PTT urges all travelers and visitors to stop in and refuel their cars as well as relaxing at Cafe Amazon located at every PTT station. For more information, customers can call the PTT Contact Center at 1365.
