Islamic Bank to open 20 more branches

BANGKOK, 7 August 2011 – Islamic Bank of Thailand is set to open 20 more branches within August to meet the growing need of its customers. 

According to Teerasak Suwanyos, Managing Director of Islamic Bank of Thailand, the plan is expected to broaden the service to people wanting to make transaction under the religious rules.

The campaign comes after the new banking system was launched last month. The new branches will be located in communities, including super stores. The customers will not only able to enjoy better services but will also be offered a big promotional campaign.

The opening of new branches will put the number of Islamic Bank’s branches to 78 in August. Islamic Bank of Thailand plans to achieve the goal of 100 branches within this year.
