Local disabled residents got a chance to earn some extra cash while kids got treats at a “happy market” at Nongprue Kindergarten.

The sub-district organized the Jan. 24 lunchtime market to boost prospects for the disabled and their families by selling food and locally made products to students, teachers and staff.

Most of the offerings were snacks and treats that kids could afford, including meat balls, fruit juices and souvenirs.

School Principal Kittisak Sirilert said the market gives disabled residents a chance to earn income and have careers from selling goods and services using training provided by the sub-district.
