16 Innovations to potentially boost nation’s econ proposed by local tech institute

BANGKOK, 26 July 2013 The Engineering Faculty of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) has organized a seminar highlighting its 16 latest innovations in areas of business promotion and quality of life improvement in preparation for the arrival of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015. 

The seminar is aimed at producing the next generation of scientists who are hoped to becoming the nation’s economic and social development contributors. The organizers at the KMITL said the seminar would encourage more useful scientific technologies, experiment, and inventions that would benefit the nation and other ASEAN member countries in the future.

The seminar highlights engineering student’s top works that best answer the nation’s social and economic needs which would immensely improve people’s quality of life.

Notable inventions include disaster warning droid, heart beat recorder and analysis system, prototype unmanned geographical survey droid, and energy storage from shopping carts.
