The Minister of Commerce Alongkorn Pollabutr chaired the opening of the event in presence of Mayor Ittiphol Khunplome, key co-organizers, and hot super models amid local dignitaries, a huge crowd of fashion enthusiasts and troop of local media.
The fashion show kicked off on Friday evening with a surprise appearance of Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova who joined the fleet of models and was awash with flashes from cameras as she paraded down the catwalk as the finale.

The fashion show also took action on Saturday and Sunday evenings at the activity ground in front of the mall amid fashion fans and onlookers.
This Spring-Summer Collection fashion show is the forerunner to another event which will feature the Autumn-Winter Collection that will take place during the Pattaya Grand Sale between the 16th of June and the 14th of August.

Mayor Ittiphol said the fashion show was also aimed to encourage local students who are passionate about fashion into the industry.
Last year the Fashion Week fair went well with the record breaking longest catwalk which was 1.6 kilometers long.

Later the dignitaries and guests joined the models for a party and buffet dinner at the Nova Platinum Hotel and partied late into the night.
