‘Confluence’ cookbook launched at Indian By Nature

Indian By Nature Restaurant in Jomtien hosted the official book launching party for Av Khanijou’s new cookbook, “Confluence” on December 10, 2010.

 

This star-studded event featured many local celebrities and was organized and Emceed by Pattaya Players’ very own, Christopher Parsons.

To tie in with the confluence-theme of the evening, two VIP guest speakers attended to kick off the festivities:  H.E. the Ambassador of India to Thailand, Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty and Pattaya Deputy Mayor, Ronakit Ekasingh.

This auspicious event also marked the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Indian By Nature owners, Jack and Av Khanijou.  Over 100 people turned out to wish the couple well and buy an advanced, signed copy of the new book.

In lieu of gifts, the happy couple asked for donations to support the local charity, “Friends of Thailand.”  Over 45,000 Baht was raised for this worthwhile organization.
