www.pattayamail.com

The Pattaya Mail was introduced to the market place in 1993 to provide a weekly local English Newspaper which covers the news that effects the Eastern Seaboard residents as well as tourists, covering travel- sightseeing itineraries, politics, business and social happenings which can not be found in the Bangkok English broadsheet newspapers.

Pattaya Mail (www.pattayamail.com) established it’s presence on the internet in July 1997 and was later featured "Website of the Week" in the Database section of the Bangkok Post. Improvements have been made since then.

By January ’99 www.pattayamail.com recorded over 200,000 hits, and the number of weekly visitors is rapidly growing. Pattaya Mail’s extensive web-content includes back-issues from the beginning to the most recent issue, counting over 70 issues on-line and a Pattaya business directory. A message board will be added soon.

Helpful website

"Editor,
I logged onto your newspaper website on the advice of a friend who has recently returned from Thailand. Your website is very helpful to give me an idea of affordable rents in Pattaya.
Thank you

Enjoying our website

"You have a great website, and I am very happy to access it here from Rio de Janeiro. I used to stay in Pattaya for the winter but now I am in Brazil. Too bad the government chased out a lot of winter tourists with their silly visa rules. I bet they now wish that they had all the dollars that many people use to spend staying all winter.

Again, thanks for a great web site.
Ralph"

Keep up the good work

"Editor;

I returned from Thailand to Saudi Arabia less than a week ago, yet couldn’t wait to read your latest edition today. I only managed about 48 hours in Pattaya/Jomtien this time around, otherwise would have fulfilled a promise to myself and called in to see you

As I didn’t, may I use this means to complimant all involved in the production of a surprisingly stylish, informative, humorous, charitable (even crusading) newspaper. I say ‘surprisingly’ because I was amazed to find such a well-written tabloid in such a relatively small area s Pattaya- many ‘nationals’ could learn some useful lessons by reading your pages. One final compliment – I’m beginning to embarrass myself with all this praise – it’s VERY relaxing to read such a good English, AND quite a change! Keep up the (very) good work.
Roy Waddell,
Yanbu, Saudi Arabia
PS - Nearly forgot – you web site is great too!"
