Educational fun for Children’s Day

This little one is coloring inside the lines during one of the many activities held throughout Pattaya for this year’s Children’s Day. Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra advised Thailand’s children to obtain “Unity, knowledge, and wisdom, whilst preserving Thai identity and learning technology” in her message to children on this special day. Sattahip police threaten crackdown on free-wheeling baht buses

Police are threatening to put the brakes on free-wheeling baht bus drivers in Sattahip whose habit of loading their open-air pickups with as many as 30 school children has drawn the ire of local residents.

The Bank of Thailand (BoT) is issuing a new series of banknotes, its 16th series, this year after the current series has circulated in the market for more than 14 years, according to BoT Governor Prasarn Trairatvorakul.
