Nimit Damrongrat, advisor to the ICT minister was a guest of honor at the press conference of “The 12th Amari Watergate & BMW Thailand Midnight Run” and “The 13th Aerobic Marathon on AIDS” recently. The winners in the men and women’s categories would receive the HRH Princess Sirindhorn’s Royal Trophy. The proceeds will be donated to Chalerm Prakiat School and Baan Gerda to support HIV infected orphan children. Charles Miles (2nd right), chief of air force security at the Force Protection Detachment of the American Embassy in Bangkok came to Pattaya to present certificates of appreciation to people who had made a special contribution and service to an American serviceman who needed serious assistance during one of their recent visits to Pattaya. Awards were presented to Thai lawyer Paisan Thunnok (left), Bobby Brooks (2nd left), a warden of the US Embassy, and Foreign Police Volunteer Officer Simon Crumpler whose award was accepted by Thomas Coulter (right).


 

Noppadon Kham-ai, front office manager of the Thai Thani Pool Villa Resort, along with his team, welcomed Janya Rattanaliam, Ariya Chatsri, and Kemawan Choosuwan, from the International Department of the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. The two parties discussed future cooperation in promoting Pattaya as a destination for medical tourism. The hospital team presented a complimentary medicine cabinet for use by the hotel staff.


In keeping with the motto ‘Give nature back to Mother Earth’ Komsan Seesam, GM of the Diana Group recently led a team of like-minded staff in organizing a big cleaning day for the purpose of protecting and preserving the environment at the Diana Garden Resort.


Nattawadee Wuthisawas, assistant director of sales at the Montien Hotel, Pattaya hosts a welcome dinner for agents & media on a FAM trip from Belarus. The group, in cooperation with Discovery Holidays Co., Ltd., was on an educational and inspection tour of the hotel.


Ingo Raeuber (center), the energetic Skål Club president of Pattaya and the East and GM of the Pinnacle Resorts, celebrated his 40+ birthday at Casa Pascal with many friends from far and wide. Everyone enjoyed the evening, which featured Pascal Schnyder’s fine food and wines. The next morning was a different story!
