Fourteen-year-old Krisana Kongkarkhet was appointed Pattaya’s first Youth Tourism Ambassador at the completion of the lengthy pageant, which concluded on July 23 at Pattaya School 8. The Mathayom 2 student from Pattaya School 9 was overjoyed as she spoke to reporters after being selected over 53 other contestants.

Pattaya Bowlers double up at Lions Annual Challenge

The Annual Lions Lawn Bowls challenge recently entered its fifth year of competition, as teams from the Philippines and Bangkok descended once more upon Pattaya to do battle. This traditional and friendly annual challenge event was held over the weekend of July 29-30 at the “Bowling Green” Pattaya; one of only two lawn bowling greens in Thailand.
