Dusit Hotel and Resorts recently held its five year plan and strategy meeting, 2006-2010, at Dusit Resort, Pattaya, in order to create a roadmap for Dusit over the next five years, outlining the developments and service enhancements in all its properties. Participants included (6th and 7th from left) Chanin Donavanik and Sinee Thienprasiddhi, executive directors of Dusit together with corporate executives and general managers.


Steve Fraser holds his Stag night at Jameson’s The Irish Pub on the Thursday before his wedding to Sherry on Saturday 21st January.


 Pakorn Srisook, executive assistant manager of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya held activities to increase the awareness of environment protection among the hotel staff. Long staying guest Jantchuk Juri and his wife joined in the tree planting at the garden of the Montien.


John Watson (6th left) chief executive officer of Diethelm Travel Asia recently hosted a Christmas and New Year party among the management of the company in the concept of ‘Party in the Kitchen’ at the main kitchen of the Amari Watergate Hotel.


The Pattaya International Ladies Club committee members of 2005 gathered at Casa Pascal’s recently for a memorable evening and to mark the end of the year in office. Sharing conversation of the year’s events and in working together all have become good friends for life! Members from left to right Roseanne Diamente (Activities), Helle Rantsen (Welfare), Gillian Thom (Newsletter), Sharon Tibbitts (President), Chitra Chandrasiri (Treasure), Rita Cromwell (Hospitality), Dinie DeVries (Membership) and Avninder Khanijou (Vice-President).


The Mercure Hotel, Pattaya enjoyed an action packed ‘Petanque Tournament’ recently which was held in association with the leading Supermarket Chain ‘Carrefour’. BBQ and the beverage ‘Ricard’ was enjoyed by all with the local Thai and expatriate French community combined to show the true spirit of Pattaya.


Boonsong Haruchaiyasak (left), Qantas/British Airways commercial manager recently presented British Airways World Traveller Plus return air ticket to Sydney to Christine Morris (center), lucky winner of Ploenchit Fair, which is an annual charity event organized by the British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN) under the Auspices of the British Embassy. Also witnessing during the prize presentation is Greg Watkins (right), executive director of British Chamber of Commerce.
