SOCIAL SCENE

Mayor Niran Wattanasartsathorn and the Pattaya City Council congratulated and celebrated the occasion of Mrs. Naruemol Phuthanawarat being presented with the Royal Decoration of Benjadirek-khunaporn (5th Class). This was in recognition for her generous donation of One Million baht towards the construction of a classrooms building at the Pattaya School Number 1.

Hilary and Graham Reeves celebrated their Ruby Wedding anniversary, whilst staying at the Montien Hotel Pattaya on their holiday recently. The ever attentive and friendly staff made sure that the happy day was to be remembered for a long time to come by helping the Reeves to celebrate this historic occasion.

Supaporn and George Robinson held a religious ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the grand opening of the Supaporn Gold and Jewelry Shop. The religious ceremonies were performed by the revered Phra Khru Patrakijviboon (Acharn Kan) chief abbot of Wat Huay Yai Temple. The gold shop is located on South Pattaya Road next to the Kasikorn bank. As an attraction Khun Supaporn is giving out coupons to clients for a lucky draw to win valuable prizes.

Kannikar Ottesen, (centre) the effervescent and hardworking landlady of the Jomtien Boathouse, Captain’s Corner and Residence Garden celebrated her advancement into the age of maturity, more wisdom and beauty (not necessarily in that order) at a birthday party held in Rossini’s Italian Restaurant at the Royal Cliff Grand. Too numerous are the friends to mention here, who came to wish her excellent health, unbounded happiness and infinite prosperity.

Georginia (middle) and Paddy (left) from the Camillian Center in Rayong present a certificate of appreciation to the Pattaya City Expats Club for their donation of 10,000 baht to support the centre. The presenation took place at the Henry J. Beans Restaurant.
