The Royal Cliff Beach Resort recently received the
internationally-recognized ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate,
becoming the first convention hotel in Thailand to achieve both ISO 9001:2000
and ISO 14001 accreditation. RW TUV (Thailand) general manager, Prayoon
Tosanguan, Ph.D. formally presented the certificate to Royal Cliff Beach Resort
managing director Panga Vathanakul during a brief ceremony held at the resort
on March 30. Pattaya City’s newly elected mayor, Niran Wattanasartsathorn was
also present to witness the ceremony.

Indian chief of naval staff, Adm. Madhvendra Singh (3rd
