Bandhit Kotmanee and Rob Scar.
Bangkok-born Chaiwichit frequented the fine arts faculty
of the University of Khon Kaen. He loves to paint with watercolors. This is
proven by the 26 paintings being exhibited in the Art Caf้, which are
for sale.
Jo Stetten and Rob Scarr opened the exposition and
presented the young artist. “The Art Caf้ feels this young talent,
who lives among us, has a bright future and his first exhibition will be a
great success,” said Jo Stetten.
Rob Scarr added, “There are many young undiscovered
artists in Thailand. They have to work in other professions so they can’t
make any progress in their art. The Art Caf้ will continue to search
for promising talent.”
Fifty enthusiastic art lovers turned up for Chaiwichit’s first show,
and were most impressed with his technique which displays bright colors and
a unique photographic-like image. So it was no surprise that many pictures
were sold in a short time. The artist was delighted and very encouraged
about the positive response to his works.
