Second Road changeover to one way creates confusion
among motorists
Officials on hand to re-direct the uninformed
Chaos ruled on Pattaya Second Road again last Friday as
motorists were thrown into confusion by the changeover when the traffic
pattern was changed to flow one-way. As city authorities and traffic police
began closing of the south-bound entrance from the Dolphin Circle roundabout
in preparation for the change over, some drivers were caught off guard and
didn’t now which way to go. Traffic police, municipal officer and traffic
control volunteers were on hand to supervise the change over.

amongst hundreds of wellwishers
Over 100 local businesspersons and political
figures visited Santsak Ngampiches on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.
Provincial heavyweight, and mayor of Saensuk municipality Somchai Khunpluem
joined Santsak to wish him a very happy birthday and stayed to attend the
morning’s religious ceremonies.

Rotary ‘Lends a Hand’ to Sattahip family
The recent wheelchair donation by the Rotary Club of
Taksin has put an improvised family one step closer to a dream come true.
Suradech Suttiwat’s eyes lit up when Rotarians and YWCA members
presented him with his new three-wheeler. He immediately asked to put the
wheelchair by his bed so that he could give it a test drive. Suradech’s
9 year old son Anupong happily joined his father during the presentation
of the wheelchair, along with teachers from his school and nearby
residents.
