The Pattaya Road Show team of 27 local tourism and business representatives returned this week from their 8-day trip to Australia and New Zealand. Speaking on behalf of the group, city council member Sutham Phanthusak summed up the experience. "The trip was more successful than anticipated."

The Road Show attracted representatives from over 70 tourist agencies in Auckland New Zealand, more than 80 in Melbourne Australia and over 100 in Sydney Australia.

"The results of the Road Show were well worth the effort," Sutham said. "We were able to spread information on Pattaya’s new developments to prospective tourists by way of nearly 300 tourist agencies in three major cities in two countries. What we were able to do in 8 days would probably have taken an independent business attempting the same type of marketing venture up to two years to complete."
