1998 Bartenders Contest
by Teetha Clench Greetings! Oh, sorry, Teetha is feeling so good, but her tongue keeps getting caught in her necklace. She has just come back from the 1998 bartender contest. Now who could resist such a socially redeeming evening? Over 50 establishments sent in entrants to vie for the coveted award of bartender of the year. Teetha herself has worked bars, uh, in bars in the past and, of course, would have liked to enter the contest. But the organizers, realizing Teetha would win hands down, asked her to be a judge instead. Teetha accepted most graciously when told that she was very good at being judgmental. The proceeds from the evening also were being donated for sports equipment for the Banglamung schools, such a good cause. |
